Having these e-readers will allow my students immediate access to good writing! One way they will be used is as a learning station. Students will have the opportunity to cite textual evidence and practice producing sentences based on structure seen in the novels. This donation will increase the ability of my students to have access to great writing, which will serve as an example for them. Using the e-readers will also encourage my reluctant reader to read novels on their reading level without fear of other students seeing what book they have chosen. If I can get my students to read, I WILL be able to teach them to write.
