My students come in with a variety of needs. I teach in a self contained preschool classroom with children who have a variety of disabilities including autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and others. A typical day can be unpredictable with students who can be impulsive and easily overstimulated. These young learners can require a lot of support in order to reach maximum potential. They respond to sensory approaches, and hands on learning.
