Last year was my 1st year in my own room, and not having a carpet was a struggle. We were successful in completing morning meeting activities without a carpet. I believe having a classroom carpet will help my students have a designated area to sit during morning meetings! It will also be utilized as a flexible seating space during independent activities! Sometimes learning in one spot doesn’t help one’s creative process. So having an open space to work will allow my students to expand on their writing pieces and to collaborate with others. Please help our classroom glow with a carpet! Thank you!
