Through our rigorous and student-centered curriculum, our K-8 school in Boston, MA commits to maximizing student learning. In my first grade classroom, this is done in a space where students can thrive and learn through play and discovery. The classroom was a space to collaborate and engage with friends, something we are all missing very much with distance learning. Still, my 1st graders are keeping their love for learning in the forefront and engaging through technology! My students are energetic, inquisitive, and always ready to learn! These first graders were learning the skills needed to become independent within the classroom and are now transferring these skills into their everyday distance learning life. These are our future leaders and giving them the necessary tools and resources will provide a solid foundation to do so!
