Today's students require a different approach to learning, especially those who are differently ABLED. The days of writing with a pen or pencil or looking up information in an encyclopedia are long gone. It is imperative that we as educators keep up with the times and teach our students 21st century skills. Chromebooks are relatively inexpensive tools that allow students with learning challenges to explore the world they live in. They level the playing field in the general education classroom in which many students with disabilities are included. Students who struggle with academics are more engaged when the material is presented electronically.
