The 1,000+ students at our public school love to read but don't have a lot of books on their shelves at home. Our community library collection reflects the size of our city...small. That's why our students get so excited when we pick a title for our Read It Forward. Everyone reads the same book. Everyone talks about it. Everyone participates. And then we celebrate! Those that chat about the book with our RIF committee will participate in the celebration of the book next spring. Our celebration this year includes a visit from the author!
