Throughout the day, our students need time to decompress and process the world around them. The needs of our students vary - some students need input through movement, others through sounds or sight. Having a variety of options will support the individual needs of our current class and students in years to come. The barriers our students face make it challenging for them to connect with others and meet their goals. Having dedicated space and materials gives students the ability to take meaningful sensory breaks. When rejoining, they are better able to focus on tasks and activities. When we are able to support all the needs of our students, they can reach and achieve more!

About my class
