My Seventh and eighth grade students will be learning from group discussions and engaging activities. They will learn to determine the impacts of major events in history. This requires a great deal of textual reading and analysis, group discussion, thought webs and conversation mapping. My students need a comfortable environment in which to read and discuss their ideas and insights into the causes, effects, and long-term impacts of these major events. So please help me provide my students with a "mini library" in our room that will lead to conducive and deductive discussions.
