In our class community, we value technology and the opportunities it provides in enhancing our learning and curiosities. Currently our public school has 5 fifth grade classes and 130 fifth graders that share 30 Chrome Books. This means that 130 students only have the chance to use a computer for one 45 minute period each day. We believe, in 2017-2018, that each child should have access to a computer throughout the entire school day. The goal of this project is to provide all 30 students in our class with a Chrome Book computer to use as needed, in all content areas, everyday. Unfortunately, we are restricted in the quantity of Chromebooks we are permitted to ask for at this time. We hope to acquire 10 from this project and 20 more in the near future.
