To help my students engage and connect more with their Spanish language learning, they would love to be able to end their year with a win by reading a novel that is relatable to them. I am asking for classroom sets of novels that are specifically written on each of their different Spanish reading levels. These books also have diverse characters with current relatable topics. Help us end this pandemic year with a READING win. The educational interruptions of COVID-19 have taken a tremendous toll on our students and their motivation and willingness to engage in classroom activities. These novels include relatable topics with teenage drama, which will continue into great class discussions about life lessons. The additional sentence-making manipulatives will help add to the conversation and extend the learning in an engaging and hands-on way. These resources will allow my students to make real-life connections while improving their Spanish language skills, a true Win/Win.
