I am beginning my sixth grade year of teaching in a brand new school, brand new grade, and brand new style-- Project-Based Learning! I'm so excited to teach social studies to a bright new group of students, and I want to make sure that they have the best environment to learn how to learn, to make presentations that communicate their thoughts, to dream of 21st century solutions for the world around them. Your donation will help me to make a room that gives students the tools to brings their ideas to life; that satisfies their need for beauty and engagement with their environment; and that gives their bodies the ability to take brain breaks as needed. This means providing a range of writing and making materials; lighting and seating options; and fidget toys and posters that will help them to relax their bodies and minds. I can't wait to start a new year with my students in the best possible environment for their learning, and I thank you in advance for your generous donation!
