Our students come to us with major gaps in their reading fluency, which is often paired with a lack of motivation. Furthermore, I teach all secondary grade levels, so I need a classroom library that reflects that. The classroom library I inherited is severely lacking in books that meet my students varying interests and abilities. It is my goal to expand my classroom library to meet the needs of all of my students so we can attack these learning gaps together. The books on this list were compiled using requests made by my students.
