We want our Calming Corner to look and feel beautiful, so we have chosen the ACTCUT super soft shag rug, the Take a Deep Breath Art Print Inspirational Nautical Calming Poster, and the beautiful Arfbear Bohemian Tapestry for how they will add to the calming decor. The SOFTZONE LITTLE LUX YOUTH CHAIR and Calming Colors® Big Beanbag Seat will complete the look and feel plus provide comfortable seating. The purpose of the calming corner is to decrease negative energy and increase positive energy. The mood filters will provide the"mood" lighting, and the LightShine Products 10 Piece Sensory Fidget Toy Bundle Pack includes items that students may use to help quickly reach the desired calming effect. In addition to having a Calming Corner for students, students will receive social-emotional lessons and talk about strategies they can use in the home and classroom to relieve stress and negative emotions. Students will be able to refer to the posters included in the Moods & Emotions Poster Pack when they need help describing emotions during our discussions.
