All of our students love to participate in class discussions. Using hand symbols and transition phrases, they elaborate, clarify, respectfully agree or disagree, and synthesize each other's opinions. Remote learning makes engaging in discussion challenging. Imaging having a thoughtful connection to share with your classmates but feeling apprehensive because your sibling(s) may be talking in the background or a honking car is passing through your community. Fear NOT! Having a headset with a microphone can make these discussions more enjoyable. Scholars will be able to virtually raise their hand, flip down their microphone, and share without worry that background noises will interfere with their contributions.

About my class
