My school is located in the east end of Richmond, Virginia in historic Church Hill. We are a Title I school, which means many of my students live below the poverty line. The students in my class all receive free breakfast, lunch, and a "super snack" at the end of the day, as well as the option to bring home a backpack of food for the weekend. For many of my students, school is their sanctuary. It is my hope that I can provide a safe, consistent, and fun learning environment for my students to achieve at the highest level. Third grade is full of changes that can be exciting to some, but scary to others. By building a strong classroom community, I know my third graders will achieve great things!
