My full day preschool classroom is made up of 16 curious students ages three to five years, from a variety of cultural backgrounds. My students love learning and are excited to come to school each day, but they also have their challenges. A large majority of the students in our district receive free or reduced price lunch and almost all of my students qualify for free or reduced tuition. In addition, our district has a large population of students who are not native English speakers, in my classroom specifically, 30% of my students speak a different home language. We are fortunate to have a full day preschool program that can support so many students and their families during this important time in their development. Please consider supporting my students.
