My school is diverse with students from various ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. I'm blessed to have a diverse and highly engaging group of kids in my class. I lovingly refer to my students as my "minis" throughout the year. We work hard everyday to build a safe and exciting classroom environment. On any given day you could walk into my classroom and see students constantly in motion. There is a balance of independent and small group work. My students are happy to step in and help a friend in class when needed, or organize classroom materials. Everyday I witness students working hard and giving 100% in everything they do.
