Having access to a wide range of reading materials and to be able to select books of personal choice is critical to shaping a lifelong reader and to academic success. In order to re-open school safely, students will be unable to visit the library to make personal choices as frequently as they had in past years. Instead, they will utilize their school-issued device to search the library catalog and place reserves and holds on books. Whether a student has chosen to start school this year in-person or the remote learning option, they will have access to their library through the online catalog, but books will have to be delivered to them. Once the book is ready, it will be delivered in a bag with an informational, custom bookmark to the classroom door. The bags are critical to our success and necessary for safe handling, items need to be "DoorDash" delivered.
