My band consists of students from grades 3-6 who stay after-school to learn how to play musical instruments. They perform at school functions, district festivals, and throughout the community. My students come from the highest poverty level, thus I provide free instruction and use of instruments. The expense of keeping the instruments in working order has been absorbed by the PTA. In order to help keep our band program strong, I seek donations for supplies, materials, and additional instruments. Thank you for helping my students realize the importance of music in education.
