PLAYTIME!! While parents attend school finishing their high school degree or completing the GED program, we have the joy of playing with their children!! The toddler's love their outdoor playtime!! That maybe the only time they are outside for the day. The playground in this picture was installed approximately 25 years ago. It has taken a beating and is in dire need of replacement. We are reaching out on Donors Choose to assist with our fundraising efforts as the cost estimated to be $30,000. Our school is a public, alternative high school that serves the community's highest need students. Our students are at-risk of dropping out due to a variety of complex issues, while also fulfilling adult responsibilities. Over 90% of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch, and more than 15% are special education students. If 6,000 people donated just $5.00 our goal would be met-please consider being one of 5,999!
