Now that we're in the full swing of distance learning, and I'll have to livestream my lessons for precocious virtual students, I need a computer that can multitask - I'd like to be able to toggle between Microsoft Teams, assignments in Google Slides, to creating resources using Photoshop, then back to our Teams meeting without lags and errors. My current laptop is slow and lacks memory. I often experience difficulty with delays and cannot video conference and pull up a website to show my students simultaneously. This makes it hard to teach authentically and is frustrating for both teacher and students, especially trying to help them work through project based learning that is primarily digital By donating to our project, you will help to increase their academic achievement and their drive to use technology to make our world better. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether their teacher will be able to get materials to work. Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
