Our students come from all walks of life, but most are from a lower socioeconomic class and haven't gotten the experience that other students might receive. They are all excited to be part of something special with our production of the musical OZ! We have children involved with all aspects, including lights, sound, marketing, art design, set building, publicity, costume design, props, playbill creation, not to mention actually acting, singing and dancing! For most of these students this will be their first and possibly only opportunity to shine and be recognized for talents they may not be generally associated with. Some may even fall in love with performing or any other non-performance tasks related to making a show come to life. We have the support from our wonderful administration to give these children the opportunity to find their niche by providing arts as well as academics each and every day. It is our goal for the children to have a rich and immersive experience.

About my class
