My Resource/Inclusion students will use the Osmo Systems with an iPad in class to have some hands-on learning and technology-driven fun! I am asking for two complete setups for my students including 2 Starter Kits, a charging station for our devices, 2 carrying cases, and a huge selection of games focusing primarily on math skills for all of my learners (K-5th grade) but also includes games in beginner coding, creative drawing, and literacy skills. We will use these during lessons, for independent practice, and as a reward for hard work, good citizenship, and academic achievements in class. I am always looking for fun new ways to learn, especially ways that include technology! Not only are my students drawn to technology but it is also a skill and understanding that will continue to be important and relevant as they continue their schooling and eventually into adulthood. I love the Osmo system because it is fun, fosters independent learning/skill practice, and encourages all learners as they go! There are no wrong answers when playing Osmos games just more opportunity to practice and to build upon skills-the perfect fit for my students. Bonus! As a teacher, I also can utilize the Osmo system to double as a document camera to engage my virtual learners with written examples and math manipulatives or to project instruction/examples to my in-class learners while we work together as a group.
