The flexible seating options in this project will help students with learning disabilities enhance their learning experience. The yoga balls are an inexpensive option for flexible seating. It allows students with ADHD to have a larger range of motion and increase their focus. The kick bands give students a quiet fidget to decrease anxiety and help students who suffer from test anxiety, writing anxiety, or who need generalized sensory motion. When my students are given the option to work away from their desks, they choose to move to a variety of places in the classroom and turn in a higher quality of work. Having the wobble cushions would allow for students to have the option of motion and flexibility, even when they are required to sit in traditional chairs in the classroom. This project will help the students get the wiggles out and decrease their distractions.
