I teach Spanish levels I, II and III, as well as AP Spanish Language & Culture. My classroom is home to around 90 high school students of varying abilities and grade levels, each semester. Many of my students struggle with their language acquisition as they lack real-world exposure to the Spanish language and Hispanic culture. Although we are a Title 1 school and many of the students come from low socio-economic status and hardships, I am inspired how they take their backgrounds as motivation to reach their greatest potentials.

About my class
