As a second grade teacher, I work with students at all levels. During the reading block each day, I provide instruction for students who are emerging readers, as well as those who are on or above level. This includes whole group and small group instruction. In order to meet with small groups I need to provide my students with engaging centers and activities that will improve their reading and listening skills.
