We are a Title l school with a large percentage of Hispanic learners. Many of our students are learning English as their second language. The strain of decoding can be overwhelming for children. Playing games to learn makes that process less stressful and fun for ALL my students. They work together in a positive atmosphere as they learn new concepts, or deepen their understanding of concepts they already know. When my students are playing games, everyone feels a part. They laugh together, learn together, and support each other, and have fun.

About my class
