These iPads will make a difference in my classroom because my kindergartners will be able to learn and eventually independently use apps to develop a deeper understanding in English with math, numbers, letters, reading, vocabulary and endless possibilities. I want to give my students the opportunity to learn through "play" using the apps and games that the iPad has to offer, in fact children do learn through play. My students are learning differently in 2018, some are faced with the challenges of moving to a new country, with a new language. Where instructions, assessments, directions are all ONLY in English. My students perform with other students who have spoken English their entire life putting them at an unfair disadvantage. Through the power of technology I want to level out the playing field and watch my students flourish into independent scholars.
