My students are between the ages of 5 and 8. Everything is new to them including the PE equipment! They are active youngsters who I am teaching the basics of lifelong fitness to. I am combating the lure of electronics as well as childhood obesity. Getting them to climb a cargo net, learn a forward roll, or shimmy up a rope is challenging but the joy of accomplishment is invaluable.
