My students are classroom are in a suburban area, tucked in a quiet neighborhood. The district slogan is "Big enough to serve you, small enough to know you" and we take that to heart at Peabody Elementary. We have a varied population of families supporting their friends and neighbors, keeping class sizes as small as possible, and growing every learner in the community. It's an honor and pleasure to see these faces every day. My Music classroom also doubles as the performance area or stage, positioned side-by-side with the cafeteria. While this poses some challenges, I feel that it eases some performance anxiety for students when they spend so much time on the stage.
