Students will need more social-emotional support this year due to the lack of time in school and the effects of the COVID pandemic. A collection of high quality picture books will engage students in read alouds during distance learning and become a valued resource in our third grade classroom library far beyond this year. Each week, these books will help us study our character trait of the week with characters who are brave, persistent, kind, generous, and accepting of others. These books will help us build a caring classroom community and a class full of readers with character. Thank you for supporting the intentional building of our diverse classroom library!

About my class
