This project will bring a fun and exciting experience to a new sensory station. This station will have a light table with sensory objects that help teach children fine-motor skills, hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, as-well-as pattern and color recognition. My students often struggle with skills that most find easy including coordination and spatial recognition. The projects will utilize colors, shapes, and light to enhance our science, math, literacy, and writing. The students will utilize this station independently to explore and experiment leading to a individual enhancement of much needed sensations.
