Our school is a center based program where all of the students enrolled have at least one disability that prevents them from attending a regular classroom or a regular school. My class consists of students age 16-26. They range from mildly cognitively impaired to more severe cognitive impairment. I also have several students with autism and a couple with medical issues. Daily, we embrace our differences and work together to achieve success in the areas of academics, social skills, pre-vocational skills, and living skills.
