I am excited to think that the students in my room who just can't seem to keep their bodies in one space, either the classroom meeting rug or a chair at the table, will have choices about what feels right to them as they work to focus and concentrate on the learning task. Often times special needs students are given modifications for seating, but I want to offer the option of balance balls and wobble cushions to all learners because each child can benefit. The opportunity for me to provide these tools my students need to become fully engaged in their learning tasks would be a huge blessing!

About my class
