My class is a unique group of wonderful, medically fragile middle school and high school students in Hercules, California, with the potential grade range from 6th grade through 12th. The students experience a variety of disabilities, including autism, communication disorders (most are nonverbal), orthopedic impairments, visual impairments, and cognitive delays. Educational planning is designed to involve all modalities of learning, depending upon the unique needs of each student.
