The school store will offer opportunities to observe and generalize vocational and functional skills. Students practice their money skills, appropriate behavioral and communication skills, following directions, task completion and making appropriate choices. The goods will be displayed in the store and the students will be able to purchase items using their reward bucks which they have earned. When students learn, they feel success and this in turn builds their self-esteem and confidence. The tools and skills that would be acquired would afford them the opportunity to maximize their potential and become contributing members of society! What a great way to help you community!
