EAST stands for Environmental And Spatial Technology. It is a project-based, service-focused course that blends advanced applications, innovative technology, and community partnerships to solve real-world problems. Our students will utilize technology to help them learn different programs which will help them develop solutions for problems in the school and the community. The students want to submit a plan to the district on how we can reconstruct our football field which is currently on being used for practice. It has all of the potential to become a nice facility to bring in our community which can help our school. They want to be able to construct a nice facility for practice, soccer games, and track events. The 3D Printer will allow us to construct a facility to present to our superintendent and the router will allow us to research on websites which are restricted on our current server. Our class relies on research and learning how to do things on our own. We have to use websites like YouTube to research how to do videos on certain software's. Our district will not allow our server to access these websites on the current server. We are trying to raise fund to do this but while time is passing we are only able to use what we have. We can look up important information and videos to help us be successful in our classes. Our students want to implement a plan to help our school combat the need for us not have a place for our track meets or soccer games. The 3D Printer will allow my students to create this facility and have a visual on what the facility can look like. We will also be developing a plan on cost to reconstruct this facility.
