We are a first year public charter school founded on the belief that each student has talents and strengths that should be developed as part of the Leader In Me philosophy. As a new school, we have a small yet growing community of faithful and devoted supporters who, like us, wanted something "different". Many of our students have not been successful in a traditional school setting either due to lack of academic or behavioral support. We offer smaller classes which allow for greater one-on-one instruction. Unfortunately, we do not receive the same funding as other area schools. I have personally purchased a microscope and several triple beam balances as well as other basic lab supplies in an attempt to make science as hands-on as possible.
