Welome and thank you for visiting! I am a science and social studies teacher to 150 6th grades from very diverse backgrounds. Many of which do not have access to technology at home. A large population of my students are below reading level and 50% of my students are English Language Learners. My page is intended to help raise awareness of technology needs in my classroom. 25 tablets will support my students in an ongoing need for technology literacy and language acquisition. Through out the year we complete many fun and challenging projects but with daily one-on-one access to technology, my students will develop skills at a faster rate. Research shows that the combination of socially interactive and technology based learning increase student engagement and acquisition. Thank you for your support in the technological, linguistic and social emotional development of my students!
