Alternative seating will allow students to learn in an optimal atmosphere. They will have the flexibility to choose seating areas where they are focused and ready to learn. Bean bag chairs, fidget bands, stools, and slanted work spaces will allow students to work in a classroom where they genuinely feel relaxed and a sense of comfort. Students with specific learning needs function best when they are allowed movement and flexibility. Seating and class arrangements that accommodate students provide a work environment that meets the needs of all learners. My students will genuinely benefit from the functionality and support that such an environment will provide.
