Reading is an essential life skill that is needed by students to enjoy the mysteries that are unfolded while actively engaging in a variety of children's genre. The exposure to different literary children's genre is a way to successfully encompass all components of reading. Reading fosters the imagination while aiding in writing abilities as well. The students writing abilities are enhanced by the literature they are exposed to in the classroom. This project will assist as a catalyst to those who wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to use these pieces of literature. Some of the books that I am requesting are One Last Word: Wisdom for the Harlem Renaissance and Who is Ronald Dahl?
