Executive Function skills are cognitive skills that every person develops. Some people develop these skills at a much slower rate and it adversely affects their success in middle and high school. The good news is these skills can be explicitly taught to students in innovative ways where they don't even realize they are learning something new! Over the course of 18 weeks in two 30 minute blocks each week teachers will impact some 90 students each semester to help them increase their academic success through game play and explicit planning strategies. The end result is students that can plan, analyze and independently complete higher order projects. A true real life skill that is essential to personal success!
