During the pandemic, students spent a lot of time on the computer either due to hybrid or remote learning. Since then, we have incorporated physical computing into our curriculum. Students have the opportunity to create technology and incorporate it into Design Thinking and Engineering projects to use computer science for good. We would like to place a special focus on using technology to make it accessible for all. My students will use the micro:bits to study climate change, create calming devices to incorporate into our SEL program and incorporate our standard of data analysis. We will also use the materials we receive to make virtual pets and wearable technology. These additional materials help our technology come to life.
