My students love to use games to reinforce their learning on math concepts and we do so frequently in our math stations. Having new materials will provide students more variety for practice of both basic math facts and new topics. Because students need extra practice with basic facts, most of these games are targeted at students below a 6th grade level. Mastering math facts is a lifelong skill that will benefit students tremendously in the future. Students will have a chance to practice the games during math stations. We have played Math Jenga before and students were very engaged. These types of resources get students practicing math without even realizing it.
