I teach 6th-8th grade science special education. I have students who are autistic, emotionally disturbed and have behavioral issues. These students are absolutely amazing and deserve the best. My goal this year is to improve their social emotional well being by creating a welcoming and home like classroom environment. It’s important for students to feel welcomed and comfortable in their classroom to increase their academic achievement. Help my students receive a quiet, calm area they deserve to promote a successful school year. I believe these materials will not only help them academically but emotionally and their social skills as well. Help me reach my goal, I appreciate it so much!
