The students will be learning to sew, embroider, knit, crochet, counted cross stitch and quilt. Without supplies they will be limited to what we can scrounge up. We are building a program from the ground up. We are hoping to be able to include Native ribbon skirts and shirts as projects once the students skills advance. Having the skills to repair and mend clothing, as well as make new clothing is becoming a lost art. I have 45 students who are eager to learn skills that will improve their lives, the lives of their families, and the lives of those in the community.
