I am a certified practitioner of a multi-sensory intensive reading/spelling program designed for kids with dyslexia. The different writing surfaces and pocket spellers keep things interesting and engaging when we practice spelling out the sounds we have learned (which we do daily). The more we write, the better we get at it. My program connects letters with sounds in a specific manner to promote better reading and better spelling. My students are always so happy to come to our class because we work on their specific weaknesses. They can see improvements daily. We work as a group to lift each other up and become better readers and writers.
