By having instruments students will be able to explore music more in depth by composing their own pieces as well as playing songs they already know. The use of instruments also allows students with special needs and disabilities to have a more hands-on music experience. Students with disabilities are many times left out of the music making experience, but with instruments available to them they will be able to successfully create music along side their peers. The use of instruments also allows for all students to make deeper cross-curricular connections by being able to explore the science of sound and all of the parts of music composing.
