The Windows Tablets will help my students apply cross-curricular, intercultural knowledge and skills to life in both the local and global community. For example, during an argumentative writing unit, students can collaborate and communicate with local lawyers via Zoom. Students will have the opportunity to see how ELA standards are applied in the real-world. By participating in real-world experiences, my students will be able to demonstrate and increase their communication skills, creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. Research has shown that when students have a wider audience their work improves.
