In the time and day of technology advancement, our school has currently done away with our technology position. Therefore, it is the job of the classroom teacher to immerse their students in today's technology. I currently have 8 Chromebooks in my classroom of 22 4th grade students. The limit on technology limits my ability to engage these students is so many wonderful opportunities outside of the four walls of our classroom. Today's technology allows for differentiation and collaboration amongst other schools and programs to flourish. These iPads will allow my students more opportunities to enhance their interests and mastery of our 4th grade ELA skills and standards. They will help us break down the walls of our classroom and explore so many programs and activities.
